The land and the sea's generosity have enabled Burriana's gastronomy to become a genuine luxury, with rice at its center, along with all of the different ways to cook it: arròs a banda, arròs marjalero, arròs al forn, caldera, paella valenciana..., and with fresh fish and seafood from our Mediterranean waters also at the top of the list. Oranges and other fruits and vegetables from our fertile seaside crops must not be forgotten, as well as our delicious desserts and homemade confectionery, such as “pilotes de frare”, “merengues”, “milhojas”, “coca”, “buñyols”...
